Cinderella Play

 

I loved the Cinderella play. My favorite characters are Cinderella and the Prince. The best part of the play was when Cinderella's dress changed, it was magical. I thought the lights were pretty because when it was dark there was a rainbow of colors. I also like Cinderella's twinkling carriage and when she danced with the Prince at the ball. I was surprised how different the play was from the movie, but I really enjoyed seeing it on stage. I got to sit in the front row and was able to see all the details of the play. I would love to see this play again.

Caterpillar to Butterfly

 

In first grade my teacher got caterpillars from a student in our class. We got to see them as caterpillars and a butterfly. Then we released the butterflies. One of the butterflies stayed on a flower.

School Field Trip to the Zoo

Today I went on a study field trip, I got to sit next to my friend on the bus ride. I went to the San Diego Zoo and it was fun. I saw a flamingo, a sloth, monkeys, bears, giraffes, a peacock, an alligator, and a lot of fish. One of the fish was a really pretty blue. A baby bear I saw was super cute. I got to go on 4 playgrounds. Today was fun and exciting.

1st Grade at Fletcher Hills

My name is Lily. Mrs. Balough is my 1st grade teacher and she loves frogs. At school I have made a lot of great friends. When I  grow up I want to be a writer because writing is fun. I have lived  in San Diego, Hawaii, and Texas. In Texas I got to go to the Renn. Fair, in Hawaii I got to go camping at the beach and also I met my best friend. In San Diego, I have been to the San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Burch Aquarium, and the Science Center at Balboa Park.
